The modern world often requires us to override our bodies, our rhythms, and our inner knowing in order to keep up. The natural world offers something different — space to breathe, to soften, and to be ourselves.

It is possible to learn how to live in daily intimacy with nature. And when that happens, life begins to make sense.

What This Is


Another Way — In Practice is a 5-day guided mini-program where you’ll learn and practice five simple, time-tested ways of relating more intimately with the natural world, right where you live.

Each day, you’ll watch a short video (about five minutes) introducing a new practice. Then you’ll spend 10–20 minutes trying it for yourself — in your backyard, at a nearby park, or woven into something you already do, like walking the dog.

You don’t need special gear, an amazing nature preserve, or a lot of time. You just need a small window of attention and a willingness to experiment.

Practicing consistently for five days gives you enough repetition to notice what begins to shift — in your mind and body, in your mood, and in your sense of connection.

The Five Practices


Over five days, you’ll practice the following: 
  • Day 1: Being still and making direct contact with the Earth.
  • Day 2: Turning your full attention to the natural world through your senses.
  • Day 3: Cultivating intentional, heart-to-heart connections with the plants, animals, and elements around you.
  • Day 4: Spending time outside the way you did as a child.
  • Day 5: Wandering on the land without agenda or destination.

  • Dates: March 18–22, 2026
  • Format: A daily email with a short video and journal prompts sent at 6AM PT, plus an optional private Facebook group for sharing and connection
  • Time commitment: About 5 minutes to watch the video plus 10–20 minutes to practice each day
  • Live gathering: Sunday, March 22, 10:00–11:00 AM PT on Zoom (recording provided if you can't make it). I'll also be sharing a spring equinox ritual to welcome the new season!
