Something is wrong — and it's not you.

If deep down you know that the modern world isn’t a good fit for you — that something about it just feels off — you’re not imagining things.
  • The pace.
  • The pressure.
  • The screens.
  • The noise.
  • The disconnection from nature.
None of it is designed with your health and well-being in mind.

But over time, this can start to feel personal. Like you're the problem — if you were only stronger, thicker-skinned, more organized, more grateful, more something, you could figure it out and finally be happy.

But what if what you’re experiencing isn’t a personal failure at all — but a natural response to a way of living that doesn’t actually work?

Women often cope by pushing through.

We adapt.
We accommodate.
We make it work.
We hold it together and tell ourselves we’re fine.

These are powerful coping strategies, but they can lead us to disconnect from our bodies, spin out in our heads, override our needs, and stay busy so we avoid feeling what hurts. Numbness, self-doubt, exhaustion, loneliness, anger — and a sense that there has to be more to life than this — are common results.

Nature offers us another way.

The human world requires us to be something we’re not in order to endure its harshness and dysfunction.

The natural world offers something different.

Space to breathe.
Space to be ourselves.
Space to soften, settle, and come back into relationship — with the living world and with our own inner rhythms.

This isn’t a nice idea or metaphor. It’s a lived, relational way of being that changes how it feels to be alive.

Your ancient wild nature is still alive.

Human beings evolved over hundreds of thousands of years in deep, daily relationship with the natural world.

That original design — that ancient wild nature — is still alive inside us, even after generations of separation from the land, from cycles and elements, and from our wild kin.

When we slow down and turn our attention back toward nature in simple, consistent ways, our wild nature starts to wake up so that quite naturally our minds quiet, our bodies relax, our hearts open, and we feel aligned, integrated, and whole.

You don't have to do this alone.

Awakening Wild offers small, supported, nature-based programs (both online and in-person) for women to:
  • Slow down and connect with their authentic selves
  • Develop a deep and healing relationship with nature in their daily lives
  • Discover a grounded sense of safety and belonging
  • Live in a way that feels more humane, coherent, and alive
This happens through guided practices, group experiences, and mentoring — rooted in ancestral wisdom and adapted for modern life.
